If you don’t accept reality is eternal because from nothing can not be created something you are not interested in the truth and you should not be in charge of innocent and vulnerable children, what get us to the key question “can the universe be eternal?”. When atheists are explained God is eternal because logically it is impossible an infinite regress of causes and effects they remark thoughtlessly something along the lines of “who created god?” or “if your god can be eternal then the universe can be eternal too” rejecting a valid argument without any counterarguments. Either the universe is eternal or God is eternal. Either what has a beginning of existence is eternal or what created what has a beginning of existence is eternal. One option is impossible and the other is necessary. Which one is the truth? The tragedy is atheists want what is impossible and worse for them and they sell the lie to their own innocent and vulnerable children. What atheists don’t understand is it is better if God exists, it is better if death is not the end. Am I right?

Atheists could just keep living the way they live now, nothing changes for you, and for religious people, because as you say religion is an evil idea, my God promises eternal hell for bad people and eternal heaven for good people.
